Jordan

Jordan is a compact country and a week covers it: two nights at Petra, which needs two days and an early start, a night in a camp in Wadi Rum, the Dead Sea, and Jerash and Amman at either end. The hotels at Petra and in Wadi Rum have improved considerably. Spring and autumn are right; summer is very hot in the south and winter can be cold and wet at altitude. We arrange a driver and guide for the whole route, which is how the distances become manageable.
