Patagonia

Patagonia straddles the Chilean and Argentine border at the bottom of the continent. Torres del Paine on the Chilean side has the granite towers and the best lodges, most of them all inclusive with guided walks and horse riding included. El Calafate and El Chaltén on the Argentine side have the Perito Moreno glacier and the trekking. The season is the southern summer, roughly October to April, and the wind in December and January is a genuine factor. We arrange the flights via Santiago or Buenos Aires, which are the awkward part.
