Mont Cervin Palace stands on Bahnhofstrasse in the centre of Zermatt, a car-free village in the Valais Alps at 1600 metres. The hotel is made up of three interconnected buildings: the Main Buildings, home to the Alpine Rooms in classic alpine style; the Résidence, where the Family Suites are found; and Le Petit Cervin, with its Chalet Rooms in a traditional style. All three buildings share the same restaurants, the Spa Nescens and the rest of the hotel's services, and each offers views of the Matterhorn or the four-thousand-metre peaks around it.

Five restaurants and bars operate across the property. Grill Le Cervin serves grilled dishes, Swiss Grand Cru beef and seafood. Joseph's Restaurant & Bar combines international dishes with cocktails and live music. On the fourth floor of Le Petit Cervin, Ristorante Capri serves Mediterranean food with a view over Zermatt, next to the Capri Bar. Salon Davidoff, with its open fire and armchairs, is set aside for a quieter evening. The Spa Nescens covers 1700 square metres, with a 20 by 8 metre indoor pool, two whirlpools looking onto the Zermatt mountains, a children's pool, an outdoor pool and lawn open in summer, and a sauna area with Finnish sauna, biosauna, steam bath and footbaths. It was rated 95 points in the Falstaff Spa Guide Award 2026.

Rooms and suites are spread across the three buildings, ranging from the single Alpine Only Me at 18 to 20 square metres to the 136 square metre Matterhorn Suite. Zermatt itself is reached by rail from Brig or Visp, by the TGV connection from Paris, or by car as far as Täsch, from where a shuttle train runs every 20 minutes into the village.

Can I drive to the hotel?
Zermatt is a car-free village. Private cars are permitted only as far as Täsch, 5 km away, where multi-storey car parks and the hotel's Welcome Parking are available. A shuttle train runs every 20 minutes from Täsch, and taxi and limousine transfers can be arranged.
What are the spa's opening hours?
The pool and fitness area are open daily from 7am to 8.30pm, with children permitted until 6pm. The sauna area is open daily from 10am to 8.30pm.
Are children allowed in the sauna?
No. The sauna area is a nude zone for men and women, with a separate women-only sauna in winter, and children and young people under 16 are not admitted.
Which building are the family suites in?
The Family Suites, including the Family 1 Bedroom Suite, Family 2 Bedroom Suite and Family Duplex Suite, are located in the Résidence building.
How do I get to Zermatt by train?
The Matterhorn Gotthard railway connects from Brig and Visp, reaching Zermatt in around an hour through the Vispervalley. Zermatt can also be reached via the TGV from Paris, with connections from London, and travel time is around 72 minutes shorter through the new Lötschberg base tunnel from Frutigen to Raron.
