OMO5 Tokyo Otsuka stands one minute from Otsuka Station in Toshima-ku, five stops from Shinjuku on the JR Yamanote Line and within reach of both Narita and Haneda airports. The neighbourhood keeps its shotengai character: narrow streets lined with independent shops and eateries, and the Toden Arakawa Line, the city's only remaining tram, running past in the background.
The hotel's OMO Base supplies neighbourhood maps checked by staff, along with an OMO Café and evening events such as the Local Rhythm Night. Staff called OMO Rangers point guests toward local restaurants, including Onigiri Bongo and the gastro bar Kushikoma. On site, OMO Cafe & Bar serves a one-plate breakfast with a choice of ochazuke, American breakfast, French toast or croque monsieur, served with salad and seasonal fruit, and later in the day offers sweets and light snacks to guests and passers-by alike. The building also holds a spa and massage room, a playroom, a pool, an onsen, a public bath and a meeting room.
The hotel has 125 rooms across a single building, each sleeping one to three guests. The YAGURA Room, at 19 square metres, takes its name from a scaffolding-style construction: an upper loft with two 120cm by 200cm beds and a lower loft with a sofa-bed that converts to a 148cm by 200cm bed. Wi-Fi is free throughout. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out by 11am. Pets are not allowed, and there is no parking, shuttle service or EV charging on site. Children aged six and under may share a bed with an adult within the room's stated capacity.
