Marbella

Marbella sits on the Costa del Sol under the Sierra Blanca, with the Golden Mile between the old town and Puerto Banus holding most of the well known hotels. The old town itself is worth an evening. Golf is a large part of why people come, with courses running west along the coast towards Sotogrande. The season is long here: the coast is mild through the winter and hot from June, with August the busiest month. Malaga airport is under an hour away.
