Aman Karingani occupies a 150,000-hectare private reserve in southern Mozambique's Karingani Game Reserve and will be Aman's first safari property on the African continent.
Aman Karingani is Aman's first foray into African safari, set within the Karingani Game Reserve in southern Mozambique. The resort sits high above the reserve's plains, surrounded by 150,000 hectares of wilderness that ranges from open savannah to rolling woodland and seasonal wetland. A central Lodge anchors the property, housing an outdoor swimming pool, restaurants and an Aman Spa, all positioned for uninterrupted views of the surrounding land.
Accommodation is limited to 30 standalone guest pavilions, each with one or two bedrooms. The pavilions are built into the landscape with covered decks and private pools, positioned so that every vantage point looks out over the plains. Separately, a collection of three- to six-bedroom Aman Residences occupies an elevated site overlooking the same expanse, framed by distant mountains, intended for owners rather than overnight guests.
As of now, Aman Karingani is listed as coming soon. No opening date, room rates or named restaurants have been published, and details on the Residences beyond bedroom count and setting have not been released.
