Argos sits in a small village in Uçhisar, built into the stone and cave landscape that gives Cappadocia its character, with views over Pigeon Valley and, beyond it, Erciyes Mountain. The hotel describes itself as sustainable and connected to the land, its history and its culture, and this shows in the room categories: from Standard Rooms of 20 to 35 square metres set in stone or historic cave interiors, up to the Grand Cave Splendid Suite at 160 square metres with its own private pool. Across the property there are 71 rooms, each finished differently but sharing a common language of traditional Cappadocian motifs paired with contemporary furnishings.
Dining is built around two restaurants, Nahita and Seki, supported by a wine cellar and two lounges. Seasonal ingredients are sourced from within a 60 km radius of the hotel, supplemented by produce and herbs grown in Argos's own garden, an approach the hotel ties to supporting the local community rather than importing.
The Argos Spa is one of Cappadocia's larger wellness spaces, with an indoor pool set in a cavernous room that echoes the hotel's cave interiors, an outdoor pool open all year and heated through the colder months, and a gym. Several suite categories, including the Cave Splendid Suite, Splendid Suite and Grand Cave Splendid Suite, come with their own private pools, kept at a fixed 27 to 28 degrees for hygiene and safety. Beyond the rooms, the hotel runs its own programme of wine tastings, cooking classes and live music, and hosts events in historic spaces such as an ancient chapel and a Museum Hall with its own display of artefacts. Outside the hotel, guests are pointed toward regional experiences including hot air balloon flights over the valley.
