The Kulm Hotel stands above Lake St. Moritz in the Engadin valley, in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It was founded by Johannes Badrutt, the first hotel of its kind in St. Moritz, and has operated for more than 170 years. The lobby retains trompe l'oeil decoration designed by architect Renzo Mongiardino.
The hotel has 150 rooms and suites, ranging from the Corvatsch Suite at 176 square metres to smaller doubles and singles facing the village or the lake. Suites come in alpine (classic) or signature style, some with a separate lounge, a dining table or an open log fire. Seven restaurants cover a range of cuisines: the baroque Grand Restaurant for haute cuisine, Kulm Country Club for mountain terroir cooking, Chesa al Parc for local dishes, Amaru for Peruvian cuisine, Sunny Bar & Grill for brasserie-style food, Pizzeria for Italian specialities and Bob Restaurant for sportive classics. Bars include the Kulm Country Club Bar, the Lobby Lounge and the Altitude Bar & Smoking Lounge.
Kulm Spa St. Moritz covers 2000 square metres, with a 10 by 20 metre indoor pool heated to 29°C, an open-air pool at 34°C, a children's pool, a whirlpool, a Kneipp footpath, a salt water grotto, a Finnish sauna, a women-only bio-sauna, steam baths and an infrared cabin. The spa runs a partnership with Facegym and offers hair treatments using Philip B products. Guests booking a stay receive a complimentary Ski and Mountain Pass, valid for the same number of days as nights booked, and the hotel has added an Alpine Sports Lounge & Boutique for ski equipment before and after the slopes. The hotel's summer season runs from 12 June to 30 August 2026 and its winter season from 4 December 2026 to 29 March 2027.
