نظرة عامة

Lelewatu Resort occupies a clifftop islet in Wanokaka, Sumba, within ten hectares of rainforest above the Indian Ocean. A private lagoon sits below the cliffs, and the resort's design draws on Sumbanese building traditions and local artwork throughout its villas and public spaces.

Accommodation runs from the 30 square metre Deluxe Room Ocean View, with a queen bed and a private bathroom with shower, to the 220 square metre Hanging Two Bedroom Pool Villa Ocean View, which sleeps four across a king bed and two single beds. Between these sit two 45 square metre suites, one with direct pool access from the room and one with a separate shower and bathtub, and two one-bedroom pool villas set into the cliff face, at 130 and 145 square metres, each with a private pool. Every category looks out over the ocean.

Dining centres on Bokosawu, the resort's main restaurant and bar, positioned cliffside and open across three meal periods to guests staying at the resort. Maraga Spa takes its design from Sumbanese architecture and uses local ingredients, among them coconut, clove and salt, in its treatments. A gym and a public swimming pool complete the facilities, and guests can arrange a traditional Sumba costume experience, ikat weaving with local artisans, horse riding, fishing and cycling through the resort.
