فندق · Kochi, Japan
A 133-room hotel in central Kochi, within walking distance of Kochi Castle and the Sunday Market, built around a straw-grilled bonito dinner and a public bath called Tosa no Yu.
OMO7 Kochi sits in the heart of Kochi, four minutes on foot from the Saenbacho tram stop and three minutes from the airport shuttle bus stop. The city is known for its food and drink and for the Yosakoi Festival, the summer dance event that began here. The hotel's own programme includes daily Yosakoi performances, and guests can walk to Kochi Castle, Hirome Market, the Sunday Market and Harimayabashi Bridge, a spot named in the festival's own song.
The property has 133 rooms in a single building, with occupancy for one to four guests. A public bath called Tosa no Yu includes an automatic löyly sauna. There is a meeting room, EV charging available around the clock, free Wi-Fi throughout the rooms and in some public areas, and lockers and a water dispenser on site. Children aged six and under may share a bed with an adult without exceeding the room's listed capacity, and the hotel allows dogs in designated pet rooms, subject to vaccination and basic training requirements, for a nightly fee paid at the property.
Dining is built around Kochi's own cooking. OMO Dining serves a buffet modelled on the local sawachi banquet style, with bonito seared over a straw flame for dinner and a bonito rice bowl at breakfast. Roast beef is grilled on the same straw fire. Dessert is a build-your-own parfait using imo kenpi, a candied sweet potato snack from the prefecture. OMO Café & Bar runs through the day and into the evening, with a self-checkout shop open around the clock for drinks and snacks.
