Six Senses Kaplankaya sits on the Bodrum peninsula, its guestrooms stepped into the hillside to suggest a Mediterranean village, each with a balcony facing the Aegean Sea. The resort totals 141 guest hotel rooms and suites, of which 75 are in the main building, plus 66 Ridge Terrace Rooms set apart with their own terraces and, in some categories, a private pool. Three, four and five-bedroom residences add kitchens, gardens and pools for families or groups travelling together. Room categories range from the Superior King and Twin Sea View rooms at 54 square metres through Deluxe rooms, Ridge Terrace Garden and Sea View rooms, a Ridge Terrace with private pool, and the 74 square metre Junior Suite Sea View with its separate living and dining area.
Dining runs across several venues rather than one central restaurant. Sage & Sea serves a Turkish breakfast and an eclectic dinner menu from the main building, while Meze by the Sea focuses on Aegean cuisine and freshly caught fish. Ortakoy Beach Bar & Barbeque Grill and the Family Beach venue keep things casual by the sand, the Library Café and The Alchemy Bar offer coffee, cocktails and workshop-style settings, and the wine cellar, Sip & Senses, holds a collection of 350 wines. The kitchens draw on organic farming from local communities on the Bodrum peninsula, part of the resort's wider sourcing from artisan producers and its own garden.
The spa covers 10,000 square metres and is built around hydrothermal areas, an indoor heated pool, a Watsu pool, hammams, a meditation cave and 38 treatment rooms, supported by fitness facilities including a cycling studio, Pilates and yoga studios and a squash court. Nine named wellness programmes cover fitness, detox, sleep, weight management, longevity and related themes, each built from consultations, treatments and activity rather than a fixed menu. Beyond the resort, guided excursions reach Ephesus and other archaeological sites on the peninsula, and on-site activities include diving, watersports, biking and hiking along the coastline.
