The Ritz-Carlton Beijing, Financial Street stands at 1 Jin Cheng Fang Street East, in Beijing's Financial Street district. The exterior is glass and chrome, a contemporary design that gives way inside to wood-toned interiors influenced by Feng Shui principles. Two restaurants anchor the dining programme: Qi, serving Cantonese food with an emphasis on fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and Greenfish, which offers a breakfast service, a lunch buffet of Chinese and Western dishes, and a Chinese à la carte menu in the evening. Crystal Lounge & Bar sits at the centre of the hotel, built around Chinese carved window lattice, and serves afternoon tea, snacks and cocktails. XuanLang Bar & Lounge is open Tuesday to Sunday afternoons into the evening. The health club covers 1,500 square metres and includes a heated indoor lap pool with soaking tub beds, a whirlpool, a steam room, a sauna, a yoga studio and a hair and nail salon. Meeting rooms and event space can accommodate gatherings of up to 450 guests.
Rooms and suites run from the Deluxe Room, available with a king bed or two double beds, through to the Ritz-Carlton Suite, a one-bedroom Presidential Suite with a king bed and city view that takes a maximum of four guests, the largest occupancy offered at the hotel. Guests booked into Executive Club Rooms and the Club-level suites gain access to The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge, furnished as a living area and stocked with books, magazines and newspapers, reached by a lift that requires a key specific to Club-level floors. The lounge serves breakfast each morning and hors d'oeuvres each evening. Loyalty membership alone does not include lounge access; a Club-level room must be booked separately. All rooms include a work desk, 24-hour in-room dining, a mini fridge, a coffee and tea maker, and a hair dryer.
The hotel sits within reach of Beijing's historic sites: the Forbidden City is 4 kilometres away, the Ancient Observatory 5 kilometres, and the Summer Palace 29 kilometres. Fu Xing Men, Fu Cheng Men and Tai Ping Qiao subway stations are nearby, along with Beijing South Station and Beijing West Terminal. Beijing Capital International Airport is 35 kilometres from the property and Beijing Daxing International Airport is 51 kilometres; the hotel does not run its own shuttle but can arrange a car for a fee.
