Nayara Springs sits inside Arenal Volcano National Park, close to La Fortuna de San Carlos in Costa Rica. The hotel is adults-only, spread across gardens and rainforest, and built around a single room category, the Springs Villa, each with its own plunge pool fed by natural mineral hot springs.
The Springs Villa covers 139 square metres and includes a four-poster king bed, a private garden with dual rain showers, an oversized bathroom and indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Villas come with a private host in addition to the hotel's regular staff. Included with a stay are breakfast a la carte or in-villa, a welcome cocktail and fresh fruit, wifi throughout the property, complimentary laundry, a mini-bar selection excluding wine and liquor, twice daily maid service, air conditioning, and daily replenished coffee and tea.
Dining spans three restaurants, Mis Amores, Asia Luna and Amor Loco, plus an espresso bar called Mi Cafecito where beans are roasted on site. The grounds include a swim-up pool bar, a quiet pool, tropical gardens planted with heliconia and bougainvillea, and two pedestrian bridges built over the forest canopy along the Perezoso Trail. The property runs a sloth preserve and a reforestation programme, and most of its staff come from the neighbouring town of La Fortuna de San Carlos.
