The Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo stands on Corniche El Nil in downtown Cairo, between the Nile River and Tahrir Square, close to the Egyptian Museum. The hotel holds 329 rooms and suites, including 49 suites, each looking out over the Nile, Cairo Tower or the Egyptian Museum. Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, Egyptian cotton linens and marble bathrooms; suites add separate living areas, and some include a balcony.
Nine restaurants and bars cover a range of styles. Culina serves international and local dishes buffet-style and hosts a Friday brunch with live jazz and children's entertainment. Vivo offers Italian cooking with views of the Nile and Cairo Tower. Bab El-Sharq serves Middle Eastern mezzeh and grills overlooking the Egyptian Museum. Bar'Oro is a cocktail bar with a walk-in humidor, and Sweet Boutique sells pastries, cakes and gourmet chocolates. The Lobby Lounge is open around the clock and is known for its afternoon tea with live piano music. Guests booked onto the Club Level have access to a private lounge with Nile views and all-day food and beverage service.
The outdoor pool measures 52 metres, described as the largest in downtown Cairo, with 17 cabanas alongside it. The spa holds nine treatment rooms, one kept for couples, and draws on traditional Egyptian ingredients such as milk, sea salt and lotus flower for its signature treatments. A 24-hour fitness centre sits on the hotel's second floor, with cardio and strength equipment and personal trainers. Families can use the Ritz Kids programme, which introduces children to Cairo's culture and surroundings through daily activities built around water, land, environment and culture.
