Palawan is the Philippines' most beautiful island and the one with the hotels to match. El Nido in the north has limestone karsts rising from lagoons that you paddle through at dawn; further south, Coron has wreck diving and lakes in the rock. The private island resorts, reached by their own flights or boats, are among the best in Asia. The journey is longer than to Thailand or Bali and rewards a stay of a week. We arrange the connections, which are the difficult part, and the island hopping with a private boat.
