Strictly necessary

These make the site work and cannot be turned off.

• jb_session. Keeps you signed in. It holds a signed token and no personal details. It expires when your session ends or when you sign out.
• jb_locale. Remembers whether you are reading the site in English, Russian or Arabic. It lasts one year.

Understanding where enquiries come from

These let us see which searches, campaigns and referrals bring people to us, so we know where to spend our effort. They hold no name, email or telephone number.

• jb_vid. An anonymous identifier for the browser, so the pages you looked at before enquiring can be shown to the travel advisor who picks up your enquiry. It lasts six months.
• jb_src. How you first reached the site, such as a search engine, a campaign link or a referring website. It lasts six months.
• jb_src_last. The same for your most recent visit, where that visit carried campaign information. It lasts thirty days.

Controlling cookies

Every browser lets you see the cookies a site has set and delete them, and lets you block cookies altogether. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies will stop you signing in. Clearing cookies removes the anonymous identifier, and a later visit will simply start a new one.
