Five joined townhouses on a garden square between Sloane Street and Victoria, The Belgrave House is the London hotel for people who want a residential street rather than a lobby full of luggage. The sixty rooms are large by London standards and the top floor suites have terraces over the square. There is a garden restaurant, a bar with a serious whisky list, a small gym and treatment rooms. The travel agent desk is old school in the best sense: tables at restaurants that claim to be full, tickets for the play everyone is talking about, and a driver for the day at short notice. Harrods is a ten minute walk, Sloane Square five, and the Tube is at Victoria.
