Overview

Amancaya is Aman's first destination in The Bahamas, set across two private cays in the Exumas. The property spans 400 acres within an archipelago known for its crystalline waters and diving. The name means 'peaceful island' in Taíno. The resort, currently in development, is planned as a 36-pavilion property alongside a collection of Aman Residences.

Architecture is by Jacobsen Studio, with interiors from Yabu Pushelberg and landscape design by Raymond Jungles. The private residences comprise three- to five-bedroom villas, each with indoor-outdoor living spaces and a private swimming pool.

Residence owners and their guests will have access to the resort's amenities, among them an Aman Spa and Wellness centre bordered by nature trails, a beach club at the water's edge, a private marina and a series of dining venues shaped by their surroundings. The marina also gives direct access to boating and diving across the surrounding archipelago.
