Hotel · Mojiko, Japan
A 119-room hotel by Hoshino Resorts four minutes on foot from JR Mojiko Station, with every room facing the Kanmon Strait.
BEB5 Mojiko stands in Moji-ku, Kitakyushu, a four-minute walk from JR Mojiko Station and roughly 40 minutes by train from Hakata Station via Kokura. The hotel is a single building of 119 rooms, each designed to look out over the Kanmon Strait. A window-side daybed in every room lets guests watch ships pass through the strait, and the rooftop "MIZUBA" terrace and a top-floor semi-open bath extend that view into the evening, through sunset and into the lit night skyline.
Dinner is served as a live-kitchen buffet, with steak grilled to order and a noodle bar where guests build their own bowl from a choice of soups and toppings. Breakfast includes French toast, rice porridge and noodles, served separately from dinner hours. A café and lounge operates through the afternoon and evening for a la carte orders. Three restaurants and one café or lounge are listed for the property in total.
Beyond the dining rooms, the hotel has a public bath, an onsen, a spa and massage service, a playroom, a pool and a private sauna room, alongside a meeting room for groups. The property is smoke-free throughout. Check-in is from 3:00pm and check-out by 11:00am, and pets are allowed in parts of the hotel, though not in every area or at every meal.
