Overview
Kalesma Mykonos rises on a hillside in Aleomandra, on the Agios Ioannis side of the island, facing Delos. According to local myth, the site once held the sacred stables that sheltered Apollo's horses. The hotel is built as a small whitewashed village, with each room, suite and villa positioned for privacy and open sea views, and the hillside setting allows for both sunrise and sunset light.
Accommodation runs from the 23 sqm Deluxe Room with Sea View, suited to two guests, through to the Leto Villa, a seven-bedroom residence of 480 sqm with a heated private infinity pool, sleeping up to 14. In between sit the Junior Suite with its outdoor jetted tub, the Kalesma Suite and Kalesma Suite Sea View, each 63 sqm with a heated private pool, the One-Bedroom Villa Sea View with its own heated pool, and the Apollon and Artemis villas, both 240 sqm with three and four bedrooms respectively. All private pools are heated to 23°C, and villas receive housekeeping twice a day.
Dining is spread across four settings. Pere Ubu, led by Executive Chef Costas Tsingas, serves Cycladic cooking drawn from the Aegean and nearby farms, open from breakfast through dinner. Kuveda takes its cue from the village kafenion, built around coffee, meze and conversation. Aloni Sunset Lounge, reserved for hotel guests, looks toward Delos at dusk, and the Pool Bar serves cocktails and light food between swims. Wellness centres on a spa with two treatment rooms, a hammam, a KLAFS sauna and a Brass Monkey cold plunge, home to Dr Barbara Sturm facials, alongside an Open-Air Wellness Sanctuary designed by Studio Bonarchi with treatments by Beau Domaine and a Technogym fitness area.
