Overview

OKU Ibiza sits among foothills on the island's west coast, a short distance from Cala Gracio bay. The design draws on natural materials and earthy tones, and every guest room opens onto its own balcony through large glass doors. Two swimming pools anchor the property, one of them among Ibiza's largest and reserved for adults only. A resident DJ plays as the sun goes down, and the pool bar serves drinks into the evening.

Rooms range from Superior and Deluxe categories with king-size beds and balconies over the Ibizan hills, to Swim-up Rooms with direct access to a pool shared with five neighbouring rooms, to three Rooftop Rooms that occupy the entire top floor with sunset terraces facing the ocean or countryside. The OKU Signature Suite adds its own lounge with a DJ booth and bar. For larger groups, a private four-bedroom villa stands in a secluded part of the grounds, with a 10-metre pool, outdoor dining for eight and a full bar.

Dining runs across two restaurants overseen by Executive Chef Mark Vaessen: To Kima serves Mediterranean food with Asian and tropical influences through the day, while Teyo opens for dinner only with Nikkei-inspired cooking drawing on Japan, Asia and South America. The spa holds a small number of treatment rooms, open daily from 10am to 7pm, alongside a programme of morning meditation, yoga and fitness classes. Beyond the hotel, guests can arrange boat charters to Formentera and Es Vedra, a Japanese cooking masterclass, or a guided hike along the western cliffs.
