Overview

Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Osaka stands in the Nanko district of Suminoe-ku, on the edge of Osaka Bay. The hotel is a single building of 64 rooms, each able to hold between one and five guests, with check-in from 3:00 PM and check-out at noon. A free shuttle bus connects the hotel to JR Osaka Station, a journey of about 25 minutes, and the property is also reachable on foot from Nakafuto Station on the New Tram line and Cosmo Square Station on the Central Subway Line. The hotel has announced that it will close on 23 November 2026.

The resort is built around its Atelier, a studio run in collaboration with the Reggio Emilia Approach to early-childhood education. Children play without fixed rules, guided by Atelieristas who support rather than direct their activities. The concept carries into the rooms: in the Atelier Room, walls and windows can be drawn on with special crayons, and the Atelier Deluxe Room adds an athletic net suspended from the ceiling for climbing and lying down to play. All rooms are non-smoking.

Shared facilities sit alongside the adjoining Grand Prince Hotel Osaka Bay, which operates most of the restaurants and lounges guests use: the Italian trattoria Basilico, the Cafe Restaurant, Teppanyaki Irodori and the Lobby Lounge. RISONARE Osaka runs its own Atelier Cafe on the 26th floor, included in the room rate, and guests can pay to use the Regency Club Lounge on the top floor. A pool and gym are available to guests at no extra charge, though pool use requires advance reservation and children under 13 cannot use the gym. The hotel also has a treatment salon, Breeze, and a meeting room.
