Overview
Stein Eriksen Lodge stands mid-mountain at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah. Built as the first luxury property in Park City, the lodge draws on the Norwegian heritage of Olympic skier Stein Eriksen and keeps the traditional alpine lodge form: oversized leather chairs, open fireplaces, timber detailing. It is Utah's longest-running Forbes Five-Star hotel and spa, and guests step from the lodge directly to the lifts at Deer Valley Resort. Historic Main Street Park City is about five minutes away by car.
Rooms are organised as Lodge Luxury Bedrooms, each roughly 700 square feet and individually decorated, holding two to four guests comfortably. At least 80 percent of rooms have a working fireplace, every room has a large soaking tub, and many include a hot tub on the private deck. Beyond the lodge rooms, Stein Collection also manages Luxury Home Rentals around Deer Valley, some with direct ski-lift access, aimed at guests who want a private house with hotel-style services attached.
Dining runs across several venues at the lodge: Glitretind Restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner depending on season, Troll Hallen for après and casual meals, Champions Club for family-style food in a 3,500-square-foot entertainment space, First Tracks Kaffe for coffee and pastries, and six climate-controlled Alpenglobe domes on the Mountain Lodge deck for private outdoor dining. The wine cellar holds more than 20,000 bottles across over 2,100 selections. The spa is a Forbes Five-Star facility built around Nordic wellness practices, with an adjoining outdoor area of two heated pools and two hot tubs open year-round to spa guests, plus steam rooms, a dry sauna and a fitness center. Stein Eriksen Sport, on the main level, handles ski and snowboard rental including helmets.
