The Red Sea EDITION sits on Shura Island within the Red Sea Project, with 240 guest rooms, 53 suites, a five-room spa and a Bali-style beach club.
The Red Sea EDITION occupies Shura Island, part of the Red Sea Project on Saudi Arabia's west coast. The hotel holds 240 guest rooms and 53 suites, built with natural oak, coral stone flooring and neutral tones. Rooms are arranged across three categories, Superior, Deluxe and Premier, each with panoramic windows facing the sea or the golf course and a private outdoor seating area. The 53 suites, named Red Sea, Reef, Bay, Mangroves and Coral among others, add separate living and dining areas, private bathrooms and, in some cases, private outdoor pools, showers and fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes.
Four venues cover the day. Central serves American-leaning comfort food from a 7am breakfast through to an 11pm dinner service, with an open kitchen and communal tables. Jiwa Terrace, open from 11am to 7pm by the pool, serves Indonesian shaved ice, ceviche and fresh juices. The Lobby runs from 11am to 9pm with pastries, tea infusions and a weekend cocktail reception with live music. Jiwa Beach Club, open 6pm to 11pm, serves Southeast Asian food alongside sunset bonfires and drum sessions on the beach.
The Spa at The Red Sea EDITION has five treatment rooms, including one couple's suite, where Omorovicza rituals are performed. A rejuvenation area adds indoor and outdoor plunge pools, infrared and bio saunas, a snow shower and heated loungers, plus a beauty salon and a private outdoor pool. The Gym, at 316 square metres, runs around the clock with Technogym equipment, a martial arts studio, reformer Pilates and open-water swims. The hotel also hosts meetings and events in spaces that connect to the island, from boardrooms to a ballroom and beachfront settings.
