The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, Miami stands at 10295 Collins Avenue, on a waterfront site at the northern tip of Miami Beach where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Intracoastal Waterway. The hotel closed for renovation on April 6, 2026, and is scheduled to reopen in February 2027. The rebuilt resort is planned to include a chef-led signature restaurant, a Members Club and an expanded Ritz-Carlton Spa with additional wellness and fitness facilities, alongside renewed guest rooms, suites, dining areas, pool and beach spaces.
Before the renovation, rooms and suites were arranged with just two accommodations per floor, giving most guests uninterrupted ocean views from floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces. Suites ranged from one- and two-bedroom Ocean View Suites with a gourmet kitchen and spacious living room, to The Bal Harbour Suite, with a king bedroom, a second bedroom with two queen beds, and a terrace overlooking the water. The Ritz-Carlton Suite, a private 18th-floor residence, included four terraces, a six-person theatre with a 62-inch plasma screen, a dining room set for eight and a bathroom with a whirlpool. Standard guest rooms offered a king bed or two queens, a private balcony, and a choice of ocean or coastline views.
Guests arrived at a property with a semi-private beach, an outdoor pool with cabana service, and the Exhale spa, which combined body treatments with barre and yoga classes. Artisan Beach House served meals with ocean views. The hotel also arranged personal shopping sessions at Bal Harbour Shops with stylist Elysze Held, and professional photography sessions for guests. Pets are welcome, with a weight limit of 35 lbs and a two-pet maximum per room, and a dog park with Atlantic Ocean views sits next to the hotel. Miami International Airport is 17.3 miles away; the hotel does not run its own shuttle.
