Overview
The Bukit peninsula drops into the sea along a line of limestone cliffs and the six villas sit right on the edge. Each has between three and five bedrooms, an infinity pool that appears to spill into the ocean, and a staff of five: a villa manager, a chef, two housekeepers and a driver. The private path down to the beach takes eight minutes and arrives at a surf break that regulars keep quiet about. Uluwatu temple and its kecak dance are ten minutes away, the beach clubs of the south coast fifteen. This is the right base for groups who want the villa to be the destination, with excursions as an option rather than an obligation.
