Dining centres on two restaurants. The focus ATELIER, led by chef Patrick Mahler, serves tasting menus that combine classical technique with Japanese and Nordic influences and holds two Michelin stars and 18 Gault Millau points; it seats guests Wednesday to Saturday from 7pm during its October to January season, with a smart casual dress code. The Grill Restaurant Lake Terrace cooks over an open flame using wood from the hotel's own forest, with lake views from the terrace. The property also holds six wine cellars, among the largest collections of their kind in Switzerland, including a cellar of more than 35,000 bottles connected to the focus ATELIER, a Verlinde Bar, a Chef's Table and a Fondue Gondola Pop-Up. An art collection by the surrealist Claude Verlinde is displayed throughout the building.
Guests have immediate private access to the lake, including boat tours on the hotel's own vessels, and a Private Spa Suite with its own sauna, steam bath, whirlpool and two massage tables, reserved for house guests. Further wellness options include massages and personal training, plus a heated infinity pool with mountain views. For meetings and private events, the hotel offers a set of named venues, among them the Panorama Hall, Music Hall, Verlinde Hall and the Gotthard Salon, alongside the separate Chamber Music Hall and Multimedia Hall at the KKV Vitznau.
