The coast road between San Francisco and Los Angeles is a week if you do it properly: two nights in the city, Carmel and Monterey, two nights in Big Sur at an inn on the cliffs, then Santa Barbara and on to Los Angeles. Big Sur has a few of the most sought after rooms in America, with hot tubs on the edge and redwoods behind, and they need booking months out. We arrange the car, the rooms and the tables, and can add Napa or Yosemite at the start for a longer trip.
