Krabi province is the quieter half of Thailand's Andaman coast. Railay's beaches are reachable only by boat and backed by climbing cliffs, Koh Lanta has a slow pace and a handful of good small resorts, and Koh Yao and the Phi Phi islands are day trips by long tail or speedboat. It suits families and couples who want Thailand without Phuket's scale. We arrange the boat transfers, a private long tail for island hopping, and the resorts we have stayed in ourselves.
