Overview
Six Senses Yao Noi sits on Koh Yao Noi, an island in Phang Nga Bay reached by a 45-minute crossing from Phuket. The resort's private pool villas take their design cue from the stilted, thatched houses of southern Thailand, built with natural materials and open-air layouts that keep indoors and outdoors loosely divided. Each villa has its own infinity-edge pool, and a personal host, called a Guest Experience Maker in the resort's own terms, arranges activities, dining and requests outside the ordinary.
Three restaurants anchor daily life on site. The Living Room is an all-day spot near the beach with buffet breakfasts and grill classics; Nithan & Chef's Table focuses on Thai cooking with private dining pavilions, cooking classes and degustation dinners; The Hilltop sits at the resort's highest point for lunches and seasonal dinner menus. The Den serves cocktails at sunset, and in-villa dining ranges from Champagne breakfasts to barbecue dinners arranged by villa staff. The spa follows a Thai-inspired long house design with individual treatment salas set into the hillside, ten treatment rooms, a fitness centre, a juice bar and a meditation room. Programs cover sleep, detox, a locally rooted Sabai Sabai journey and yoga, alongside treatments such as a Thai herbal massage using warm herbal poultices and a facial made with silk cocoons.
Beyond the villas, the resort arranges diving, kayaking, Muay Thai lessons and boat trips to the limestone islands of Phang Nga Bay and the Phi Phi Islands. On the island itself, sustainability work includes a Junior Eco Warrior program for younger guests and efforts to protect Koh Yao Noi's hornbills and other wildlife.
