Overview
Adare Manor stands on 840 acres of parkland beside the River Maigue in Adare, County Limerick, on the edge of southwest Ireland. The gothic manor house was once home to the Earls of Dunraven, whose private apartments now form the Dunraven Staterooms, individually styled with period artwork and original architectural detail. Shannon Airport is a 30-minute drive, Cork Airport 90 minutes, and Dublin Airport two and a half hours.
Accommodation ranges from Classic and Deluxe Rooms to Staterooms of 592 square feet (55 square metres), 1 and 2 Bedroom Suites, and the more spacious 1 and 2 Bedroom Signature Suites. Interconnecting Rooms and Accessible Rooms are also available. For longer stays or larger groups, self-catering options include 2 and 4 Bedroom Manor Lodges beside The Carriage House, sleeping four to six guests, and 3 Bedroom Manor Cottages a three-minute walk from the Manor House, sleeping six. Rooms begin at approximately 463 square feet (43 square metres) and include marble bathrooms, a minibar and Wi-Fi, with views over the Formal Gardens, the River Maigue, parkland, the golf course or the Manor courtyard.
The Oak Room is the estate's Michelin-starred restaurant. The Carriage House Restaurant holds a Michelin Plate award for its artisan grill menu, serving dishes such as loin of venison, Dublin Bay prawns and king crab rolls, cooked over charcoal on a purpose-built grill. Further dining includes Ōku, afternoon tea in The Gallery, and whiskey and wine tasting sessions. The championship golf course was designed by Tom Fazio and will host the Ryder Cup in 2027, having already staged the JP McManus Pro-Am in 2022. The Spa at Adare Manor has five treatment rooms and was the first in Ireland to offer 111SPA/CLINIC treatments using 111SKIN products, alongside a relaxation pool and infrared sauna.
