Overview

Sveti Stefan is a fortified islet on the Adriatic coast of Montenegro, linked to the mainland by a narrow isthmus. Aman's restoration of the site turned 15th-century stone cottages into cottages and suites, connected by cobbled lanes and shaded courtyards. Across the bay, on the mainland, stands Villa Miločer, a former royal residence that now provides an intimate collection of private suites. The resort opened in 2008.

The island of Sveti Stefan operates seasonally, open during the warmer months, while Villa Miločer remains open year-round. Villa Miločer's suites look out over the bay or the surrounding forest of cedar, pine and olive trees. Up to eight of its suites can be reserved exclusively for groups of family and friends, alongside a living room, a combined meeting and dining room, and a library.

Wellness facilities are centred on the mainland Aman Spa, set with sea views and built around the restorative use of water. It offers signature body treatments, fitness facilities, two hydrotherapy suites and an indoor swimming pool. Dining is spread across both settings, from beachfront lunches and poolside refreshments to more formal restaurant settings, with menus centred on Montenegrin and Adriatic ingredients, freshly caught seafood and Mediterranean cooking. Guests typically arrive via Tivat Airport, about an hour from the resort, with Podgorica and Dubrovnik airports also within reach, the latter requiring a border crossing from Croatia.
