Overview
Bulgari Resort Dubai occupies a stretch of coastline on horseshoe-shaped Jumeira Bay Island, in Jumeira 2. The property is larger in scale than any other Bulgari hotel destination and includes two rows of twenty stand-alone villas, each with its own swimming pool and a car park set inside a timber gazebo. The villas face either the beach or the Dubai skyline, and those on the beach side have direct beach access. Villa categories run from a one-bedroom villa of 175 square metres to a two-bedroom villa of 250 square metres, a three-bedroom villa of 315 square metres and the Bulgari Villa at 540 square metres, the resort's largest configuration, with a living area and cabanas beside both pool sides.
Dining runs from Il Ristorante, overseen by chef Niko Romito, with raised banquettes facing the Arabian Gulf beneath a black ceiling, to Hoseki, a seventeen-seat omakase counter run by chef Masahiro Sugiyama. The Bvlgari Bar, an oval counter finished in chrome, opens from five in the evening to two in the morning beside the seaside promenade, and La Terrazza, formerly known as Il Caffe, overlooks the Marina and Jumeira Bay. On the ground floor, the Bvlgari Spa spans 1,700 square metres with seven treatment rooms, a couple's suite, a hammam, a 25-metre indoor pool and a vitality pool modelled on the Roman baths of Caracalla. The adjoining Bvlgari Gymnasivm, developed with Technogym, is open around the clock with in-house personal trainers and views out to the ocean.
The resort sits 25 minutes by car from Dubai International Airport and 45 minutes from Al Maktoum International Airport, with complimentary secured parking on site. Guests can arrange a desert safari to see Arabian oryx and gazelle, a private tour of Abu Dhabi by Maserati Quattroporte taking in Louvre Abu Dhabi and Qasr Al Watan, a helicopter flight over the city lasting from ten minutes to an hour, or a trip to the souks and the Creek in Old Dubai. The Marina, built around a 46-boat harbour with a travertine promenade, adjoins the Bvlgari Yacht Clvb and its restaurant, outdoor pool and pool bar.
