Capella Taipei occupies a site on Dunhua North Road in the Songshan district, within reach of Taipei 101, Taipei Arena and Songshan Airport. The hotel was designed by André Fu Studio around the idea of a modern mansion, pairing European-style furnishings with Eastern-inspired textures and curio shelves. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the guest rooms frame views across Dunhua North Road toward Taipei 101 and the mountains beyond.

The hotel has 86 rooms and suites across four categories. Superior and Deluxe rooms draw on Taiwanese design cues. Balcony Rooms open onto private balconies facing the cityscape and mountain ranges. Pool Terrace Rooms and suites include a private plunge pool on their own terrace. The Capella Suite adds a private fitness room and separate living and dining areas, with views toward Taipei 101.

Dining spans five concepts, from an intimate omakase counter to a tri-level bar complex. Capella Wellness offers a spa designed with organic curved forms. The hotel also has corporate meeting facilities and a lounge area called the Capella Living Room. It also arranges experiences such as visits to the city's oldest neighbourhoods and a tea farm in the mountains outside Taipei.
