Overview
Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise sits on the shore of Lake Louise, inside Banff National Park in Alberta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hotel overlooks Victoria Glacier and the surrounding peaks of the Canadian Rockies, with 539 rooms and suites arranged across the main building and the Mount Temple wing.
Seven restaurants and bars operate on site, including the Fairview Bar and Restaurant overlooking the lake, the Walliser Stube for Swiss and Alpine dishes and fondue, Louiza for Mediterranean-inspired menus, and the Lakeview Lounge for lunch and dinner. Afternoon Tea, a tradition dated to 1890, is served at Fairview Restaurant with signature teas, finger sandwiches and scones. Guests can reach Lake Louise Ski Resort and two further ski resorts nearby, canoe on the lake in summer, and book treatments at Fairmont Spa. A 24-hour pool and health club are also on site, along with BASIN Glacial Waters, a self-guided thermal bathing experience opening in September 2025.
