Overview

Nobu Hotel London Portman Square sits in Marylebone, within walking distance of Mayfair and Soho. The hotel combines Japanese minimalism with Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's cooking, extending the Nobu restaurant concept into a full stay with rooms, a bar, a terrace and a Pilates studio.

Dining runs across four spaces. Nobu Portman Square Restaurant serves Matsuhisa's signature dishes, including Black Cod Miso, Yellowtail Sashimi and Rock Shrimp Tempura, alongside an eight-seat sushi counter open on a first-come, first-served basis. Nobu Bar, designed by David Collis Studio, operates as an izakaya with live DJ sets on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. The Lounge handles breakfast through to late cocktails on the ground floor, including an Afternoon Tea that changes with the seasons, and Nobu Terrace opens seasonally for alfresco meals and cocktails, weather permitting.

Rooms range from the 18 to 20 square metre Cosy King Room up to the 115 square metre Nobu Penthouse, each fitted with a Signature Nobu bed, a Nespresso machine, Grown Alchemist bathroom amenities and a TOTO toilet. Guests can use a 24-hour fitness centre with Technogym equipment and book Nobu Pilates, a Reformer-based class created by Marsha Lindsay, or wellness treatments including those from Nuriss and a resident trichologist. The hotel allows pets in The Lounge, bedrooms and on the Terrace, though not in Nobu Restaurant or Nobu Bar.
