Overview
The Peninsula Istanbul stands along the Bosphorus waterfront in Karaköy, part of the Galataport redevelopment in Beyoğlu. The hotel is arranged across four buildings, three of them historic and restored, and receives guests arriving by land or by sea. Rooms and suites are spread across these heritage structures and a newly built wing, giving each category its own character and outlook.
Accommodation ranges from the Superior Room, at 40 to 49 square metres, through Bosphorus-facing suites to The Peninsula Suite, a 510-square-metre suite on the top floor of the southernmost heritage building. Several categories include private terraces or balconies looking over the strait or the hotel's gardens, and interiors are furnished in a contemporary Turkish style with custom-made pieces and carpeting.
Dining spans four venues: The Lobby for all-day Mediterranean food, afternoon tea and Sunday brunch; GALLADA by Fatih Tutak for Turk-Asian dishes; Topside Bar for cocktails; and Abelia for seasonal, international menus by the water. The Peninsula Spa and Wellness Centre sits on the lower level of the main building, with eight private treatment rooms, two of them for couples, separate hammams for men and women, and a tea lounge. Guests also have use of a 24-hour fitness centre, an indoor 25-metre pool ringed by Marmara columns, and an outdoor pool along the Bosphorus waterfront.

These suites occupy the ground floor of the hotel's main heritage waterfront building, measuring 78 to 85 square metres, with private 25-square-metre terraces opening onto gardens and the Bosphorus.
This penthouse suite sits atop the most northerly refurbished heritage building, with a 180-square-metre rooftop terrace including dining and lounge areas and Bosphorus views.
Occupying the top floor of the hotel's southernmost, refurbished heritage waterfront building, this suite is the hotel's largest accommodation.
