Overview

Acacia sits on a granite kopje with the short grass plains of the southern Serengeti in every direction, the country where the migration gives birth between January and March. Eight suites are built into the rock with plunge pools, open fronted living areas and beds you can watch the plains from. Guiding is the strength: the head guide has worked this part of the park for nineteen years. Meals are taken where it makes sense, on the rocks at breakfast, under the acacia for lunch, on the deck for dinner. Ndutu is close enough for day trips and the Ngorongoro crater is a two hour drive. Access is by light aircraft from Arusha or Kilimanjaro.
