Kenya & Tanzania

The Mara, the Serengeti and camps with twelve tents and a hundred square kilometres to themselves.

Our notes

Safari is the trip people remember most and get wrong most often, usually by choosing a lodge that looks right in photographs but sits on a public road with thirty vehicles at every sighting. We work with camps inside private conservancies, where vehicle numbers are capped and night drives and walking safaris are permitted. The great migration crosses the Mara River between July and October, but January and February in the southern Serengeti, calving season, is quieter and every bit as dramatic. We build the flights between camps, the balloon safari and the beach finale on Zanzibar or Lamu into a single itinerary with one invoice.
