Overview
The Abu Dhabi EDITION sits on the waterfront of Al Bateen Marina, in the city's downtown district. The hotel holds 198 guest rooms alongside 57 exclusively serviced residences. Rooms are finished in a neutral palette: grey oak timber flooring laid in a herringbone pattern inspired by local basket weaving, off-white marble bathrooms, off-white drapery and wood-panelled walls hung with photography by Brett Weston, whose manipulated images of sand dunes reference the surrounding desert landscape. Balconies look over the marina and are furnished with outdoor pieces by Gandia Blasco. Room categories span Deluxe King, Deluxe, Deluxe Twin and Superior Deluxe variants through to suites including the Marina Suite, Marina Premier Suite, Marina Penthouse and Royal Penthouse.
Food and beverage is built around three signature restaurants plus a lobby bar and a pool bar. Oak Room is a modern steakhouse serving prime-grade cuts and a wine selection, open Tuesday to Saturday evenings with a Sunday Roast on the last Sunday of each month. Alba Terrace takes its cues from the Mediterranean, with a brass-clad aperitif bar, small plates and a terrace of seating under pavilions beside a reflection pool, open nightly for dinner. Market at EDITION serves all-day breakfast and lunch in an open-kitchen, informal setting. Library Bar offers literary-themed cocktails in a quieter room furnished with artwork built around language and text, led by Assistant Bar Manager and Head of Mixology Ryan Remulta.
Wellness facilities include the EDITION Spa, with 7 treatment suites, the Rossano Ferretti Hair Salon, Chaps & Co. Barbershop for men's grooming, and two gyms, one open to hotel guests around the clock and a residence gym with set hours.
