Hotel · Abu Dhabi,
A waterfront hotel in Abu Dhabi's Al Maqta area, with a private beach, villas with plunge pools and views of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal sits in the Al Maqta area, along a canal with views across the water to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. The property includes a private beachfront, gardens and a mix of hotel rooms, suites and villas; several villas, including the Garden Suite, Garden House, Plunge Pool Villa and Rabdan Pool Villa, have private plunge pools and outdoor terraces and are among the hotel's pet-friendly accommodations. A redevelopment is under way: Venetian Village is being deconstructed to make space for a new collection of villas, with the resort's existing facilities remaining in operation throughout.
Dining runs across eight venues. The three signature restaurants are Mijana, a Middle Eastern restaurant selected by the MICHELIN Guide; Li Jiang, serving Asian dishes from an open kitchen; and The Forge, a steakhouse named for the craft of forging a steak knife. Giornotte serves Mediterranean food throughout the day, including a Saturday brunch, Dolce offers a wellness-focused menu with keto and vegan options, and The Pool Bar by Dolce serves the pool and beach area. Sorso Bar and the Alba Lobby Lounge round out the list, the latter doubling as a breakfast café.
Facilities include a spa using ESPA and AMRA Skincare products alongside Newby Tea, a 24-hour Wellness Centre with cardio and strength equipment, an outdoor pool with a separate adults' pool, five padel courts, and a FIFA-standard football pitch. The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge is available to guests booking Club-level rooms and suites, open daily from 6:30 am to 10:30 pm. Ritz Kids runs supervised activities for children aged four to twelve, and the hotel sits close to Saadiyat Island and Yas Island attractions as well as the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
