The address places guests close to the business, cultural and shopping districts of south Mumbai, including the Gateway of India, two kilometres off, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, three kilometres off.
Accommodation ranges from Luxury Rooms of 37 square metres with cityscape views to the two-bedroom Bay View Residential Suite at 113 square metres, which includes a private study and a separate dressing area. The Kohinoor and Golconda Suites, each 191 square metres, look out over the ocean and the Queen's Necklace and come with a separate butler entrance. Rooms include a writing desk, complimentary high-speed internet for up to four devices and round-the-clock butler service, with female butlers available for lady guests. Dining runs from Fenix, an all-day international restaurant, to Ziya, a modern Indian restaurant under chef Vineet Bhatia, currently closed for renovation. The Eau Bar and The Champagne Lounge serve cocktails and afternoon tea respectively, both with sea views. The swimming pool, set in a private courtyard, is 18 metres long and open from sunrise to sunset; the spa and fitness centre are presently under renovation, with a limited menu of treatments offered from a private spa suite and fitness facilities available at the adjoining Trident hotel.
The hotel sources 50% of its daily electricity from renewable energy through a solar partnership, and every room is fitted with an IoT-based air purification system designed to reduce airborne pollutants. Guided experiences include a heritage walk through south Mumbai's colonial architecture, an early-morning tour of the flower and fish markets, and a cooking session with an Oberoi chef.
