Seven restaurants and one bar operate within the building, from the Art Deco Sea Lounge, known for its afternoon tea, to the Harbour Bar, licensed since 1933 as the city's first.
Rooms in the Palace Wing include the Luxury Room, a windowless space of 33 square metres set within the historic wing, and the Luxury Grande Room, available with either a city or sea view through a bay window and butler-on-call service. Taj Club rooms occupy higher floors at 37 square metres, with access to the Taj Club Lounge for breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails, plus a one-way airport transfer. Dining runs from Loya, serving cuisine from North India, to Wasabi by Morimoto, a Japanese restaurant created with chef Masaharu Morimoto, and Golden Dragon, India's first Chinese restaurant, now in its sixth decade of service.
The J Wellness Circle spa offers Ayurvedic and yoga-based treatments alongside an Ayurveda Sanctuary, and the hotel keeps an outdoor pool, a salon and a 24-hour fitness centre. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport is about an hour away by car, and transfers can be arranged by email in advance. Check-in begins at 2:00 pm and check-out is at noon. Pets are not permitted, though baby cots are available on request.
