Overview
Vomo Island sits between the Mamanuca and Yasawa groups, on roughly 255 acres of private land ringed by beach. Guests arrive by helicopter, a flight of about 15 minutes from Nadi International Airport or Denarau Island, or by speedboat from Vuda Point Marina, a crossing of around 35 minutes. A daily catamaran also runs from Denarau Marina, with a small island boat completing the final leg. Check-in is at 2pm, check-out at 11am.
Accommodation is arranged across six private residences and a set of resort villas. Taleitaki, a four-bedroom house of 410 square metres, sleeps up to eight guests across four king bedrooms, each with its own outdoor shower and three with an outdoor bath. A 14-metre infinity pool overlooks the Yasawa Islands, and the residence includes a butler's pantry, a THX-certified home theatre room and daily laundry service. Totoka offers three bedrooms under one roof with its own pool and firepit. The resort villas are grouped as beachfront, plunge pool or hillside categories, including two-bedroom family pool villas and the Beachfront Family Retreats.
Meals and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages are included for all guests, along with access to non-motorised water sports, tennis, pitch and putt golf and a daily snorkelling safari. The island has a par-3 nine-hole golf course, a PADI dive operation with diving for children, and Kui Spa, open daily from 9am to 6pm, which uses the Australian skincare range Sodashi and the Fiji-made Nama Fiji, built around sustainably harvested sea grapes. An adults-only area, The Rocks, sits apart from the family spaces. Private dining and picnics can be arranged on the beach or on the neighbouring islet of Vomo Lailai, which can be reserved for the day. The whole island can also be booked for weddings, birthdays, family functions or corporate events.
