Our notes
The Seychelles look like nowhere else: pink granite boulders on white sand, takamaka trees to the waterline, and inner islands green to the top. Mahé and Praslin have the range of hotels; the private islands, some an hour by boat or a short flight, have a single resort and often a turtle nesting beach. The sea is calm on one side of each island or the other depending on the season, which matters for swimming and which we will explain. Ten days pairs well with a few nights in Dubai or Doha on the way.
