Overview

Four Seasons Resort Seychelles sits on Petite Anse bay, on the southwest coast of Mahé, the largest island in the Seychelles archipelago. Reached through Baie Lazare, the property is built up a granite hillside above the bay and comprises 67 villas and residences, each fitted with its own infinity pool and an outdoor rain shower. Creole design runs through the interiors, worked with French colonial and European detailing, set against jungle and tropical foliage that runs down the slope to the water.

Six villa categories make up the resort's core accommodation, from the one-bedroom Serenity Villa, surrounded by jungle greenery with views across Petite Anse bay, to the two Premier villas at 205 square metres with private sundecks and plunge pools. Four suite categories follow, including the Three-Bedroom Royal Suite, one of only two suites with direct private access to the beach, comprising three pavilions, a private gym, a separate study and den, and an infinity-edge pool. Ten Residence Villas sit higher on the northern and southern hillsides, ranging from three to eight bedrooms, each with a private infinity pool, a fully-equipped kitchen and its own Residence Host.

Guests eat across three main restaurants and further bars: ZEZ for Asian izakaya-style dining, Kannel for Mediterranean and Creole cooking, and Koi for Japanese food served at a chef's counter, along with Il Forno for Neapolitan pizza on the beach and Steak Shack, a beachside grill built around a Josper charcoal oven. Le Syel Spa sits at the highest point of the property, above Petite Anse bay, with treatments drawing on Ayurveda, yoga and local ingredients. A 28 metre pool, a 24 hour fitness centre and two boutiques complete the facilities. The resort has a sister property on Desroches Island, reachable by private chartered flight.
