Overview

CERVO Mountain Resort stands at the foot of the Matterhorn in Zermatt, reached by a short climb up from the village. The resort holds 54 rooms and suites spread across seven lodges: Nomad (4-star), Alpinist (5-star) and Huntsman (5-star), plus the separate 4-star Overlook Lodge in the village itself. Each category has its own character, from the compact Nomad rooms built around a Hästens bed to the Huntsman Lodge, which can be taken as a private chalet of four, five or six rooms with its own fitness area and the option of private catering.

The resort is ski-in, ski-out, with the Après Ski bar positioned at the end of the slope and open from 3pm. Five restaurants and bars cover the rest of the day: Bazaar for market-style snacking and drinks, Ferdinand for Valais fondue and raclette made mostly from produce sourced in the Valais region, Madre Nostra for Italian cooking in an alpine setting, and Grapes & Juniper, a bar hidden behind a door in the cellar's arched vaults. The Ātman Mountain Spa draws on Japanese onsen, Bhutanese hot stone bathing and Northern European sauna tradition, with a tea yurt, ritual room and an onsen looking toward the Matterhorn. Cloakrooms are mixed and some areas of the spa are designated nude zones. Day guests can use the spa without restriction.

Guests have access to a climbing wall, a gym and a yoga deck. The Overlook Lodge, 350 metres below the main resort, holds five serviced apartments in the village itself, each with a fully equipped kitchen, ranging from a cosy studio to a three-bedroom penthouse. CERVO also takes on meetings, weddings and business events, with its restaurants, bars, lodges and event equipment available in flexible combination.
