Overview
Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens occupies a 30-hectare estate in Vouliagmeni, on the Athens Riviera, with three private beaches along the Aegean Sea. The Acropolis is around 30 minutes away by car, and Athens International Airport is 25 kilometres from the hotel, a drive of about 25 minutes or 15 minutes by helicopter.
The hotel groups its rooms and suites into three settings. Arion offers modernist, retro-influenced rooms and suites near the spa and an adults-only indoor pool, ranging from 40 square metres for a Sea-View Room up to 450 square metres for the Arion Riviera Suite. Nafsika faces the Nafsika pool and beach, with rooms from 44 square metres and suites up to 220 square metres in the Nafsika Ambassador Suite, some with a private pool. The Bungalows date to 1961, the founding year of the Astir Palace estate, and range from 42-square-metre Garden-View Bungalows to 80-square-metre Bungalow Suites, several with private plunge pools and direct beach access.
Dining runs across nine restaurants and bars, including the Michelin-starred Pelagos, Italian restaurant Mercato, the beachfront Taverna 37, Latin American restaurant Helios and the cigar lounge Aristotle's. Matsuhisa Athens and Beefbar Athens also operate within the grounds. The spa holds 10 treatment rooms, a hydrotherapy zone with an aroma steam grotto, chill showers, sauna and hammam, a heated indoor pool and the Petros hairdressing salon; the fitness centre is open around the clock. Guests also have access to three hard-surface tennis courts, a padel court and the adjacent Astir Marina, which has 59 berths.
