Overview

Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora occupies a private motu named Tehotu, a fifteen-minute boat ride from Bora Bora Airport across a turquoise lagoon. The property is all-suite: sixteen accommodation categories are split between overwater bungalow suites, specialty overwater bungalows with plunge pools and beachfront villa estates, each with views of the beach, the lagoon or Mount Otemanu from a private terrace or deck. Interiors use teak-wood furnishings, Polynesian artwork and Mother of Pearl lighting accents, following an indoor-outdoor design by architect Pierre-Jean Picart, BAMO of San Francisco and Paris-based designer Didier Lefort.

Five restaurants and bars cover a range of cuisines: Arii Moana serves Mediterranean classics in a waterside setting, Fare Hoa Beach Bar & Restaurant grills seafood and steak on the sand, Oro'a hosts a festive Polynesian evening with dance and a fire performance, Tere Nui serves breakfast with a view of Mount Otemanu, and Vaimiti offers Asian dishes over the water. Executive Chef Mickael Messina oversees all five kitchens, alongside Pastry Chef Arnaud Troalic. In-bungalow dining runs around the clock, including breakfast delivered by canoe. Te Mahana Spa sits on the lagoon's edge with seven treatment rooms, two open-air pavilions, an overwater couples' suite called Fare Miti, a sauna, a steam room and two outdoor whirlpools.

Beachfront villa estates range from one to five bedrooms and come with a dedicated Villa Host team, private beach setup and pre-arrival planning. Families are catered for through the Kids For All Seasons programme, two artificial grass tennis courts with a Peter Burwash International pro, and a fitness centre facing the lagoon. Guests pay no additional charge for children seventeen and under sharing a room with parents, and rates for suites and villas include round-trip airport transfers and daily breakfast at Tere Nui.
