Overview

Jumeirah Muscat Bay stands at Saraya Bandar Jissah in Qantab, on the edge of Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. The address places guests within reach of the sea, the surrounding mountains and the city's historic quarter, without naming distances or travel times. Every room, suite and villa is built to face the water, and interiors draw on the work of local artisans in a style the hotel calls modern Arabian, shaped by Oman's landscapes.

Accommodation is arranged in three tiers. Rooms are contemporary in design, with understated Arabic touches, and face the secluded bay directly. Suites add a private balcony for taking in the view. Villas go further, each with its own plunge pool overlooking the ocean. No room counts, sizes or guest capacities are published.

Dining runs to five restaurants: Peridot for international dishes from an open kitchen, Zuka for beachfront Mediterranean seafood, Anzo for Asian-inspired plates and cocktails, Tarini for tea, coffee and pastries on the terrace, and Brezza Restaurant & Rooftop Bar for Italian-leaning Mediterranean food with a rooftop view. Beyond the table, the hotel offers tennis, water sports, a fitness centre, a KiDS Club and a Premium Leisure Club, along with spa treatments, sunrise yoga, stand-up paddleboarding and wakeboarding. One signature treatment, Essence of Oman, uses frankincense oil and sea salt.
